This October, Analyse Local is introducing a new portal experience designed to make it simpler for local authorities to access the products, tools and insight they use across our services.
The new portal brings a cleaner, more modern way of working.
Rather than changing the services our clients already know, the new experience is designed to make them easier to access and use day to day, while bringing the wider Analyse Local offering together more clearly.
A more intuitive way to work
Local authority teams are often working across a wide range of priorities, systems and information sources. Our aim with the new portal is to make the Analyse Local experience as straightforward as possible.
The updated portal will provide:
- Single sign-on, making it easier to move between Analyse Local products
- Clearer organisation, helping users quickly find the tools and information relevant to them
- A cleaner, more modern interface, designed around day-to-day use
- Easier access across the Analyse Local offering, including AL Maximise, AL Insight, AL Verify and Ask AL
The result is a more joined-up experience that puts the products and insight clients use within easier reach.
Ask AL is also beginning to roll out as part of the wider Analyse Local experience. The service will continue to develop as access expands, with dedicated communications, demonstrations and further information shared separately as the rollout progresses.
The next evolution of AL Insight Forecast
The portal rollout will also coincide with the next evolution of AL Insight Forecast, introducing three service options designed around different forecasting needs.
Forecast Lite provides a free introduction to selected Forecast insight, giving authorities a light overview of their current CCA position and a better understanding of how AL Insight Forecast could support them.
Forecast remains the established core service, providing detailed CCA reporting, provision monitoring and support with NNDR1 and NNDR3.
Forecast Premium adds further depth through monthly settled reporting, Valuation Tribunal appeals integration, enhanced Rating List analysis and national NNDR returns analysis.
With NNDR1 preparations approaching, the refreshed Forecast offering gives authorities greater flexibility in the level of forecasting insight and support available to them.
