Software development is at the forefront of Analyse Local’s success. Over the years our team have worked tirelessly to further develop our existing products to ensure that we can offer the best services both in house and to our clients.
Our flagship product, Analyse 9, is a market-leading software product that holds a vast amount of rating data, updated directly from the Valuation Office on a weekly and monthly basis. This data is meticulously cleaned, compiled, formatted, analysed, and presented, providing a robust platform for unparalleled research and analysis. Analyse 9 is used internally by our operations team, by local authorities through the RVF package, and by rating agents, making it an essential tool for effective rating research.
Another product which has faced multiple improvements and changes over the last year is our RV Finder software. The Maximise Business module has been an instrumental development for effective caseload management and external case referrals. Our Maximise Business module enables users to comprehensively review large numbers of hereditaments, creating records, notes and detailed reports to highlight any discrepancies found. This management module is used both internally by our Maximise Business team and externally by Local Authorities. It is an essential platform for our team to not only refer cases to our clients but also to monitor the life cycle of the case and provide updates from our side. The system also facilitates the easy review for our researchers of all successful and outstanding case data, including yield calculations. Clients are able to provide updates on their side as well, and the system aids in their internal procedures with new features making the service more streamlined.
Internally, we also have products and services which drive our data driven analysis. Our Insight Forecast service analyses and manipulates data to assist our clients in managing their provision effectively and aids them in completing their NNDR1 and NNDR3 forms. The analysts on the Insight Forecast team utilise a variety of datasets including live and historic national rating list data, local council’s appeal and CCA data to calculate yield loss figures for our clients to enable them to monitor any potential losses. We also employ complex forecasting algorithms to analyse patterns and trends in the data to provide our clients with forecasted losses for the financial year. This considers the local commercial blueprint and trends from the 2010, 2017 and 2023 lists to provide a truly bespoke service for each of our clients.
